Class will be held 3 Fridays per month during the fall semester from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at Gather Kids Place Community Center.

During these 1 hour classes, children ages 9-17 will learn how to paint using acrylic paint and a variety of acrylic media. Students will begin with basic drawing, then transition into color theory, painting tools and methods, and specific subjects including landscapes, still life and portraiture. Each class will help practice and develop upon skills taught during previous lessons.

Cost: $20 per student per class. Option to pay per month ($60/month) or by semester ($300/semester). Fee includes supplies used during class time. Student will need to purchase their own supplies for use at home.

Recommended home supply list:
-Basic drawing kit (4B, 2B, HB, 2H graphite pencils, kneaded eraser, rubber eraser, pencil sharpener, tortillions/blending stumps)
-Acrylic paint (at least one shade of blue, red, yellow and titanium white)
-Sketch pad
-Painting pad suitable for acrylic paint and/or canvas panels
-Small table easel
-A variety of paintbrushes

**Complete the registration form below and send first monthly payment or full payment for the semester by August 2, 2023. Refunds will not be given for first month cancellations requested after this date.**

**Students should wear clothing suitable for acrylic paint.**

**Open play at Gather is not included in this pricing. Gather is still finalizing open play schedules for August and the playroom is not currently open on Friday. Children are welcome to play during regular open play hours Tuesday-Thursday and when open play is available. **
