Teen Atelier: Fine Art for Teens

During these 1-hour classes, children ages 12-17 will explore fine art concepts and techniques, and create unique pieces in multiple mediums. Students will enroll for the whole semester (August-December 2025). During the semester, we will learn:

Expressing form through line and value (graphite and charcoal)

Exploring color theory (acrylic painting)

Landscapes and Plein air (oil painting)

Block Printing

3-D Art (Assemblage Art & clay)

Supplies are provided during class time. Students are encouraged to purchase their own supplies for use at home.

Classes will be held at Gather Kids Place Community Center (4358 Midmost Dr. Mobile, AL) three times per month on Thursdays from 2:00-3:00 p.m. Students enroll for the whole semester, and you may elect to pay for the whole semester up front or monthly. The cost for the entire semester is $300, or $65 per month. If paying monthly, payment is due prior to the first day of each month. The first monthly payment is due upon enrollment.

Must have a minimum of 3 enrollees to hold class. Maximum of 8 enrollees.

Enrollment in group classes may be canceled prior to the first week of class for a full refund. Cancellations for students paying per semester made after the first week of the semester will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations for students paying monthly after the first week of the month will receive a 50% refund for the remainder of the month if cancelled before 48 hours of the next class during that month. Refunds will not be given for individual missed classes during a given month or semester.

In the event that a class is canceled by Studio Pure Art for any reason, a make-up class will be scheduled.
