Global Art: A Journey Around the World With Art
During these 1-hour classes, children ages 6+ will discover traditional art forms across the world as we explore the cultures of thirteen different countries and create inspired projects of our own. Students will enroll for the whole semester (August-December 2025). During the semester, we will create art inspired by the following countries:
Japan, China, Russia, New Zealand, Peru, Ireland, Sweden, Netherlands, Italy, Greece, Iran, Morocco, and Ghana
During our studies, students will learn to use a variety of materials and techniques, including poetry, clay, painting, mosaics, calligraphy, and more.
Supplies are provided during class time.
Classes will be held at Gather Kids Place Community Center (4358 Midmost Dr. Mobile, AL) three times per month on Thursdays from 3:15-4:15 p.m. Students enroll for the whole semester, and you may elect to pay for the whole semester up front or monthly. The cost for the entire semester is $300, or $65 per month. If paying monthly, payment is due prior to the first day of each month. The first monthly payment is due upon enrollment.

Must have a minimum of 4 enrollees to hold class. Maximum of 10 enrollees.
Enrollment in group classes may be canceled prior to the first week of class for a full refund. Cancellations for students paying per semester made after the first week of the semester will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations for students paying monthly after the first week of the month will receive a 50% refund for the remainder of the month if cancelled before 48 hours of the next class during that month. Refunds will not be given for individual missed classes during a given month or semester.
In the event that a class is canceled by Studio Pure Art for any reason, a make-up class will be scheduled.
